# Overview

#### Introduction to Rentible’s Blockchain Dev Stack

Rentible uses cutting-edge blockchain technologies to power its ecosystem. We leverage two main platforms: Ethereum, known for its secure and established network, and Sui, an innovative new blockchain focused on speed and scalability. Our smart contracts are built primarily using Solidity for Ethereum, with a goal to move some of the operations to the Sui network by the time. Let’s take a closer look at each.
